No. Nothing about the hierarchy is hardcoded. Each admin defines the departments, business units, roles, ranks, and reporting lines that match how their company actually works.
Free is capped on structure — 1 business unit and 1 department — not on features. You keep task boards, ticketing, email-to-ticket, permission policy, and the audit trail. Every new workspace also gets 10 days of full Unlimited access to try everything; after that it reverts to the Free limits until you upgrade.
The first 200 organizations to upgrade lock the founding rate: $80/month, and that price never increases — even as we add features. After the first 200, Unlimited is still $80/month today but the standard price may rise over time.
When you create a workspace you get 10 days with every Unlimited limit lifted — add as many units, departments, people and inboxes as you want. On day 11 it reverts to the Free limits (nothing is deleted; you just can't add more until you upgrade).
